Graceling and Fire
After finishing The Mockingjay, finally had the effort to read Water for Elephants. I have it since 2008, but i just keep postponing reading it. One minute im holding it, the next thing im doing, im looking at other pending books or tearing the plastic of a new book that i bought, cheking the prologue, ended with the epilogue because it was more interesting, forgetting about Water for Elephants. I have ADD. LOL But after learning that they made a movie of it, with christoph waltz, reese witherspoon, and robert pattinson. Whoa! I told myself that I have to finish it NOW. It must be really good, right? O_o With the glitter of the known actors in my head, it helps, but in the end, the whole story was still boring. Though im glad that it was a happy ending. :) What was fun in the book? The Elephant only understand Polish and it’s a fact that they like booze! :))
After The Hunger Games, got obsessed with YA Fiction books. So I searched the friendly amazon for similar books and ended buying both “Graceling” and “Fire” by Kristin Cashore at the friendly Powerbooks Greenbelt. :D “Graceling” was a quick read, it reminds me of the map in Robert Jordan’s “Wheel of Time” or was it with him or with David Eddings? “Graceling” has a map of its Seven Kingdoms. I guess normal for the likes. Anyways, im quite rushing reading “Fire” now. Reviews says it’s much better than “Graceling”. We’ll see. What I crave right now is to read George R.R. Martin’s “Game of Thrones” that’s why I want to finish “Fire” ASAP! When I saw the preview at HBO. I was like, “Oh smoke! I want to read this!” O_O it’s the kind of blood that I crave. ;))
